Paws for Purrfect Patient (Pet) Therapy (PFPPT) was founded in 2011 to help bridge the gap in the current health and welfare system supports for clients and their companion animals. We strongly believe that believes that how society treats their most vulnerable (including animals and consumers) is a reflection on society as a whole.
Furthermore, our pets deserve the unconditional love, care and loyalty they afford their owners. We are set up to assist clients of mental health, homelessness or domestic violence services in the provision of care for their best friends (their dogs and cats).
We have recently undertaken to collate material animal aid for pets impacted by adversity. In 2014, we are undertaking a “Feed the need” project.
The Feed the Need project will exist to aid animals in emergency welfare boarding shelters across Victoria who have owners in need and will include provisions for
* desexing costs
* medication
* pet food
*bedding
*flea and worm treatment
*leads and collars &
*vaccinations
Urgent assistance can be accessed by contacting our CEO and Founder (Naomi Snell) directly on mobile phone number 0452 661 726. People are free to make self referrals or case managers or shelters are welcome to do this on a clients behalf.
